Alexandra Horn
Principal Dentist

Alex has worked in a variety dental practices in Wigan, Huddersfield, Halifax and Leeds.
In 2007 she decided to set up the Carnegie Dental Clinic in her home town of Bradford.
The aim being to provide a more patient focused dental experience for her patients in a clinic where prevention rates as highly as quality dental treatment.
Since Alex qualified in 1995 from Manchester, she has completed advanced practical training in restorative dentistry with Paul Tipton and ensures that the practice always uses the best performing dental materials. She has a particular interest in bruxism and the restoration of heavily worn teeth.
Alex is committed to further education for the whole team at Carnegie, keeping up to date with the latest technology and materials in the ever changing world of Dentistry. She is also a firm believer in getting to know all of her patients and making sure that she discusses with them all the dental solutions that are available to treat their particular problem.
Alex is also a qualified Aesthetic Practitioner and strongly believes that wrinkle relaxing injections and dermal fillers should only ever be provided in a highly regulated and hygienic clinical setting.
Alex has two children and enjoys pilates and walking with her family and dog in the Lake District (when it’s not raining).
Priyesh Surti
Dentist

Priyesh qualified in 2017 from the University of Sheffield.
Since then he has worked in general practice in the North East and London before moving to Yorkshire.
He has an interest in providing all aspects of restorative dentistry.
In his spare time Priyesh enjoys socialising with friends and family, going to the gym and he has a keen interest in sports.
Tanisha Songra
Dentist

Tanisha qualified in 2020 from UCHCEU in Valencia. Since then she has worked in Norfolk before moving to Yorkshire. She has a keen interest in all aspects of general dentistry, and is currently completing her two year diploma in aesthetic and restorative dentistry. Tanisha aims to provide the best for all her patients, she is an approachable dentist who enjoys giving her patients their confidence back.
Outside of work Tanisha enjoys baking and taking her dog on walks.
Lydia Sanson
Practice Manager

Lydia joined Carnegie Dental Clinic as a Dental Nurse over 10 years ago and now, as the Practice Manager, she knows every aspect of the practice inside out.
As well as dealing with the day to day running of the practice she also has an in depth knowledge of the icomply compliance system that ensures that all areas of the practice’s compliance requirements are dealt with to the highest standard.
Lydia supports the whole team with regards to H.R. and she also helps everybody plan and achieve their essential and additional CPD requirements.
Finally, although Lydia very rarely works in surgery these days she is qualified to take impressions of patients’ mouths that can be used to make bleaching trays, mouthguards and study casts.
Lydia is also qualified to apply fluoride to patients’ teeth when required and is the person to go to if you are ever unhappy with any aspect of your dental experience and need to chat about an issue.
Rebecca Dodd
Dental Hygienist

Rebecca qualified from Bristol Dental Hospital in 2006 with a dental hygiene diploma, where she received an award for clinical excellence.
Rebecca has worked in specialist periodontist practice and has great success in motivating her patients to update their oral hygiene regimes, making sure that they get the most from their regular hygiene appointments.
In her spare time she likes to travel with her family and going to music festivals.
Christina Bolland
Dental Hygiene Therapist

Tina qualified in 2009 at the University of Leeds with a graduate diploma in dental hygiene and therapy. Since then she has spent time working in general practice treating both adults and children.
Tina enjoys working with nervous patients helping them to become comfortable with dental treatment.
Out of work Tina enjoys days out with her two young children, cooking and summertime music festivals.
Danielle Goldthorp

Danielle is is our Lead Dental Nurse. She has 10 years of experience working in both NHS and private practices. Danielle likes to spend her spare time with family and friends and also has two young children who keep her busy.
Shannon Reinvalds

Shannon is a qualified dental nurse with a Level 3 diploma in Dental Nursing. Shannon has recently moved to the area from Staffordshire and is excited to start her new life in Yorkshire.
Shannon loves being a Dental Nurse, making nervous patients feel at ease and watching the confidence of patients grow with their new smile.
In her spare time, Shannon enjoys socialising with family and friends, going on long dog walks and cooking.
Faye Hamilton-Towers

Faye has recently qualified as a Dental Nurse after completing her Level 3 diploma in Dental Nursing.
Faye chose a career in dental nursing as she likes helping patients feel more confident in their smile.
Faye enjoys going on walks, reading true crime/thriller novels and spending time with her friends and family.
Emma Tierney
Trainee Dental Nurse
Emma left school to start a career in dentistry and enrolled onto a Level 3 Dental Nursing qualification at Bradford College. Emma became interested in dental nursing after finishing her orthodontic treatment. Emma found that she gained more confidence in herself once her treatment was complete. Emma would love to pursue a career in dental therapy in the future.
Emma enjoys playing rugby for Cleckheaton Girls team and going to the gym.
Josie Barnes
Trainee Dental Nurse
Josie has recently started her career in dentistry by enrolling onto the Level 3 Dental Nursing qualification at Bradford College.
Josie chose a career in dental care as she enjoys making people feel confident and enjoys meeting new people.
In her spare time Josie plays football for Ilkley Womens Senior first team. She also enjoys spending time with her friends and walking her dogs Cocoa and Boo.

Alex is doing her apprenticeship with Bradford College and working towards her Level 3 qualification.
In her spare time Alex enjoys Thai Boxing and outdoor activities with her dog Blue.

Sarah has over 15 years experience in providing excellent customer service. She loves meeting and greeting our patients and making their visit an enjoyable experience.
When she’s not ensuring our busy diary runs smoothly, Sarah enjoys socialising with friends and walking her new puppy with her husband and children.
